Introduction
This seminar was designed for AHJ's, such as building code officials and fire officials, with a strong focus on the requirements of the IBC.
Design professionals (architects, engineers), other specifiers, inspectors, tradespeople and contractors will also find it to be relevant and useful.
To receive a Certificate of Completion and CEU's, students must complete all of the modules (video lectures) and score 70% or higher on each of the 10 quizzes.
If you fail a quiz, it is highly recommended that you review the video for that specific module prior to taking the quiz a 2nd time. Failing the quiz repeatedly will lock you out of the course, until an administrator can reset the course for you.
This AIA and ICC course #38829, consists of eight contact hours (0.8 CEU's).
This seminar will specifically cover the International Building Code firestop requirements, and the fire test and inspection standards referenced within.
